Due to a PennDOT, Alcosan and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) construction project that will close a portion of Main Street in Sharpsburg, beginning Tuesday March 1 and for approximately one month, Port Authority bus routes 1-Freeport Road and 91-Butler Street will be unable to serve Sharpsburg from the Highland Park Bridge to the 62nd Street Bridge.

Construction Shuttle
A free PennDOT construction shuttle will serve stops along Main Street between the 62nd Street Bridge (North Main Street at Bridge Street), and Brilliant Avenue at Loop Street in Aspinwall.
Riders exiting the shuttle near the 62nd Street Bridge can board detoured Port Authority bus routes 1 and 91 at established stops on Bridge Street near the intersection of Bridge Street and North Main Street.
Riders exiting the shuttle in Aspinwall can board regular bus service at existing stops on Freeport Road at Brilliant Avenue.

Please note that PennDOT construction on route 28 at the Highland Park Bridge may cause additional delays for riders of the 1-Freeport Road, 91-Butler Street, and P10-Allegheny Flyer. 91-Butler Street and P10-Allegheny Flyer buses will be required to detour due to anticipated ramp closures, however, no stops will be affected. Please allow for additional travel time.
