Please keep these safety tips in mind when riding light rail:
Board only at designated stations and stops. |
Never run after the car or bang on the side of a vehicle. The operator may not be able to hear or see you. Please wait for the next vehicle to arrive. |
When boarding or leaving the vehicle, be alert for a buzzer sound that will activate just prior to the doors closing. |
If standing, do not lean against any doors. Please hold onto bars or straps, as the vehicle may stop suddenly. |
Please avoid distracting the operator when he or she is operating the vehicle unless you have an emergency. |
TWO-CAR TRAINS Trains do not have an operator on the second car and the second car opens its doors only at selected high-level platforms. Riders wishing to board or exit at any street-level stop can use only the first car of the train. Only enter the second car if you are exiting at one of the following stations: In case of emergency, you may speak to the operator |
STROLLERS Riders are no longer be required to fold a stroller when boarding a vehicle. Strollers may remain open with the child secured inside under the following conditions:
