    Single Track - Outbound Closure - Between Denise & Glenbury Interlockings - Rail Replacement

    Summary:

    Pittsburgh Regional Transit and its Way, in an effort to replace rail on the outbound rail between the Denise and Glenbury Interlockings, will require the closure of the outbound track and "single track" operations on the inbound track between the same locations beginning Monday, October 19, 2026.

    Work and single-track operations will occur Monday and Tuesday, October 19 & 20, 2026 from approximately 9:00 AM until around 2:30 PM. Work will then recur Wednesday October 21, 2026, from approximately 9:00 AM until around 11:00 PM.

    Passengers at Denise and South Bank Stations traveling outbound will need to board cars on the inbound platform during this work and operation.

    Delays of no more than five (5) minutes in either direction can be anticipated.
